Building for manufacturing or processing?
Under the 2025 tax law, some production buildings can be written off in year one. Estimate your after-tax cost and talk it through with your CPA.
Common questions
How long does it take?
Most projects take 12 to 16 weeks from signed contract to finished building. American Buildings typically manufactures and ships the steel in 6 to 8 weeks, and we do the dirt work and foundation while it is being made.
What should I do before I call?
Know roughly what size you want and where it will sit. The most common mistake we see is buying a building before going through permitting or testing the soil. What is in your soil drives the dirt-work cost, so we look at access and ground conditions on the site visit.
Do you finish the inside?
Insulation, electrical and plumbing are done by our own crew, so we can take the building past a bare shell when you need it.
